Some Christmas Favorites

Leah played a very serene (and pink) Mary in the Christmas Eve nativity.

 Traditional Christmas Eve PJ Pyramid.

Having just put out cookies and chocolate milk for Santa, Leah could hardly contain her Santa excitement. Seconds after this picture I announced that it was time to go to bed. Leah shot up the stairs and was under her bed covers before I even made it to her bedroom.

One of my very favorite things about this Christmas morning was having two kids to share it with. Leah was just as happy to watch Parker open gifts as she was to open her own.

Leah entered the family room in squeals of delight as she saw that Santa had come. Before she even sat down she ran to the tree to get the gifts she had made for Dad, Parker, and myself. Leah said, "It's Christmas morning! Now you can open the presents I made for you!" She didn't even rush us through it. Leah pointed out all the detail she had put into the homemade ornaments and made sure we put them on the tree before she even thought about opening a present herself.

She didn't learn that selflessness from me.

 Parker's Christmas Joy.

Leah's Christmas Joy (complete with Rapunzel doll). Good thing Santa shops at Target too, eh?

I was going to say the same thing about Leah's hair, gorgeous! It's getting so long!

Don't you think the only thing kids under 1 need for Christmas is wrapping paper, that's all my boys wanted to play with their first Christmas.
