ONE DOWN

Well it finally happened. I knew we couldn't keep ALL of the fish alive. I am sad to announce that our Little Luma Fishie has passed on. I found him Friday morning stuck to the filter. Gross, I know. We think he died of malnutrition. The bigger pink fishes had been picking on him since day one; chasing him around and nipping at him. It was pretty sad, actually. Luma (AKA Buma) was my favorite.

I'll just hope that he has moved on to bigger and better bodies of water where other mean fishes will just let him eat.

A tear has come to my eye. I am sorry to hear about your loss. It is hard when our loved ones pass on, but I promise he has moved on to a better place-the sewer. May he rest in peace (and sewage water).

Oh sad! Hopefully he believed in re-incarnation, and will be reincarnated as a much bigger and meaner fishy! :) Hey, thanks for all of your apartment advice you left on my blog, BTW. It has been such a great help.

Senseless violence. There are no meanie fishes in heaven. Luma and her golden fins are free at last.
