The Quinneys Finally Blog

Yeah I know it's been a long time coming. I've been saying I'll do it forever. Well the time has arrived and here is the blog. Maybe now we will be able to share what we've been up to. Here are a few pictures of us.

I have been super busy these past few years. I still work for Zions Bank, attend school at the University of Utah (aka, the Devil's school) and plan to graduate in December (finally!), and enjoy spending time with Melanie and my little Princess Leah (no, this not an invitation to make Star Wars innuendos.)

Melanie is still working as the leasing agent for the apartment complex we live in. It has its good and bad benefits, but overall, it allows her to stay at home with Leah.

Leah is our greatest joy. She is constantly amazing us. She is 14 months old now, walking, talking Leah talk, and she is very inquisitive; wanting look at, see, and explore everything.

We just returned from the first ever McGee Family Reunion this past week. The reunion was in West Yellowstone. We got to see all sorts of really cool things.

Leah got to see her first waterfall. She had so much fun.

She is our little glamour girl. She has such a fun personality and loves to be a big goof if she knows it will get a laugh.

She really loved being with all her cousins for so long. She had lots of time to play with them.

We were there too! We stayed with the whole family in a really nice cabin that was actuallty big enough for 20 people that included 4 babies.

Here is some of the amazing scenery that we took in while driving through the park.

You can't hardly tell, but that brown speck in the middle is a bear. There are something like only 500 in the whole park so seeing one is very rare!

Old Faithful never disappoints!

The water just boils up from the ground and runs over all the pots and little water falls and makes the ground a mixture of orange, yellow, and white while the water is just a crystal color of blue. Just amazing!

Melanie and I decided to stop by Rexburg, Idaho on the way home. I attended school there several years ago and not been up there since. We wanted to see the progress on the temple being built there. Its not quite done, but it is beautiful.
