It's Been A While

Well, as you can see it's been a while since we blogged. I think it's time to update everyone. Since our last post we have done a lot of things.

At the end of July we went camping with Matt's family. We had a lot of fun sharing a tent with one of Matt's brothers and they had a lot of fun listening to Leah fuss and cry in the middle of the night. Yes, it was Leah's first camping trip and with that came a lot of other firsts: touching a live fish, getting messy in the muddy water, sitting by campfires, watching dad try to figure out a tire jack for a car that got a flat tire the day before we were supposed to go home and the ensuing stress related to it. All in all it was a fun trip. While it rained (I mean down poured!) the entire first day, and some of the second, then occasionally on the third it was a fun and relaxing trip that we all needed. If you have never been to Hoop Lake, it's beautiful. Even through the rain and wind.

After camping we came home and got settled for the upcoming school year. Matt is continuing at the 'U' and will be graduating this coming April. Only a couple of semesters more and we will be free and safe from the, ah-hem, alternative education option that this state provides. I promise, our loyalties lie with our True Blue Blood.

September brings a lot of other things to our schedules. College football and fantasy football being in the forefront. It never stops amazing me how enthralling it is to watch a bunch of men basically having a big dog pile party can be so fun season after season. But it is, or at least the hours logged on to Yahoo! Fantasy Football says it is. Matt and I went to see SpamALot this past Tuesday at Capitol Theatre. Andon the 18th we will celebrate our 3rd anniversary and go to see The Secret Garden! I love this musical! Yeah for our 3 year anniversary! So Matt can have his football (although I do admit to being guilty of enjoying it to a degree) as long as I can my musicals.
