Sweet Spot

Normally, his head is gently snuggled onto my shoulder. But tonight we switched, I snuggled my nose into my sweet baby's neck and stayed there for a few minutes.

In that sweet spot everything is right. There are no deadlines, no to-do lists, no stresses or worries; there's no talking or distractions. Just a perfect moment in complete silence with a perfect baby.

Isn't it amazing that a dependant baby, through no manipulation or will of its own, can have that effect?

And tonight my prayer is to allow those moments to happen more often.
