Not Forgotten

About two years ago I dropped an external hard drive we'd been storing some things on. The external hard drive hasn't worked since and it contained all of my photos from late 2006 to late 2007. I've been heart broken thinking we'd lost most of Leah's one year old photos.

Today, I was cleaning up some of Matt's computer files. For whatever reason he had duplicates of many of the photograph files I already had- AND MOST OF THE LOST PHOTOS! I was ecstatic and started tearing up. I've spent most of this evening looking through those photos. I haven't viewed them in so long. It took me back to a much simpler time. One child, a small apartment, modest and simplistic furnishings. Less toys, less, noise, less craziness. Don't get me wrong, I love my life now. But sometimes I crave that long lost simplicity.

Anyway, here is a video that makes my heart melt. It was taken December 2007, which would make Leah about 1 1/2.
