Guess what I just did!
I just scheduled the last of my OB appointments! I cannot believe that time has flown by so quickly. I cannot believe that I have another appointment in two weeks and then they start going weekly. I cannot believe that we still don't have his room even remotely started.
This pregnancy has gone by so much more quickly than Leah's did. Yes, I'm uncomfortable, but I'm not really ready to start caring for this baby once he's OUTSIDE my belly. I'm sort of hoping that he'll just stay in there forever. Am I totally jinxing myself? I know, I probably am. On the other hand, the lady that scheduled my appointments scheduled one for March 8, one day after my due date- and I wanted to punch her in the nose. So maybe I'm more ready than I thought.

I know it always goes quicker when you're the one NOT pregnant but I really do feel like your pregnancy has flown by. I'm so excited for you guys!
And with my 2nd I also had the feeling of "Does he really have to come out?" I dreaded the sleepless nights again.
I don't want my little guy to leave my belly either. I do, but I don't. And don't worry... his room isn't done yet either. I feel totally unprepared.

I can so relate. Newborns are nice from a distance...no they're really sweet. But it's hard to throw yourself into that all over again! I can't believe you're almost there!
The wonderful thing is that once he is out the maternal instinct kicks in! Don't worry about the room, he won't know :) He just wants someone to snuggle with, feed him and change those diaps. The first few months are the best.
