Oops!

Yikes, Leah accidentally dialed 911 today. I didn't even know she had done it. She must have dialed and hung up all within one swift motion. About 3 second after she hung up the phone I received a call from Sandy City Police wondering if everything was okay. They verified that who I was and that I was talking of my own free will. And of course I was; if you count having to talk to a 911 dispatch while being completely embarrassed free will.

At least I know that if I'm ever involved with an intruder and he/she sees me making the call and makes me hang up I'll get a timely call back.

That's funny...Not for you, I guess, but it makes for a good story and good memories. Kids keep life interesting!

That's nice that they were quick to call back and make sure everything was ok. My younger brother did that when we were little and they came out to the house.

she is such a trouble maker. :)

That is one of the worst calls to get. Zach has successfully called 911 twice. The first like Leah's and the second he actually spoke with the lady and had to come find me so I could also talk to her.

That's awesome! I didn't mean to, but I dialed 911 from my parents house one day and they called right back. So it is nice to know that they are doing their jobs!

That is really funny. I was laughing so hard when i read this. I too called 911 when i was little and they called back. Its funny that probably most kids do that.

Oh my gosh! Why is it that when a kid gets a phone in hand it has to be 911. Why couldn't it be 4-1-1 or 5-1-7 or anythings but 9-1-1? Oh well, I guess if you are in any real trouble she already knows who to call. Ü
