RANDOM THOUGHTS TO WRITE ABOUT AS THEY POP INTO MY HEAD

I took THE DISNEY TRIFECTA QUIZ which included questions from the movies: The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Aladdin. I only got 90%! This means I missed one question and it won't tell me which one. It's driving me nuts!

Why is it that Leah will ask me to put her down for a nap and then cry when I do it? Is there something ingrained in children that make them whine when you put them in their beds? I think so.

This last weekend was such a blast. On Friday night we were invited to have a BBQ with a bunch of our friends. We had such a fun time eating some of the yummiest Bratwurst I have ever had while watching the Jazz game. Afterwards we played a little bit of Mario Kart and Hand 'N Foot. Thanks to the Thuesons for hosting. Matt, Leah, and I really had a blast. Saturday night we went to a park with some other good friends, the Millers. We love their kids and it's so much fun to play Killer Bunnies all night with them. Matt and I are grateful for such awesome friends.

Why on earth did American Idol stink so badly last night. I can honestly say I only sort of enjoyed 2 of the performances. And what the heck is up with Syesha? I'm pretty bummed that she is in the top three. No doubt she is talented, but only as a performer, not a vocalist. How many people are voting out there based on how much leg she shows? Blech.

Remember our newest fish family member Pablo "Problem" the Pleco? He's not doing his job. Matt had to clean the tank out by hand (I'm getting the chills just thinking about it) because there was so much algae around. Now he's just a white blob sitting at the bottom of the tank.

Did you know that tomorrow the high is supposed to be 69 degrees and then Friday the high is supposed to be 79? That's a mighty huge jump. I'm so excited to wear flip-flops full time!

Hey, so I was really upset that Syesha was still in too. Paul and I voted probably a hundred times for the Davids just to do our part. Just in case...because you never know any more. HUGE relief at the ned of last night, though!
