I post this first one because I believe that this is what EVERY mom does EVERY day! It gave me a little chuckle or two.
And hello! That voice!
And this song I just love. It's pure and simple and really speaks to me. The first time I heard this song was my senior (?) year in high school (it may have been the year right after graduation). Either way, it was a very pivotal time in my life and the lyrics just calmed me.

Methinks

Methinks that my dishwasher and disposal will be smelling like root beer for a while.
Methinks that I should have dumped the root beer before it was even CLOSE to exploding. Although as all Lowe's know, all of Grandpa's Root Beer is close to exploding... at any moment... without warning...
Methinks that if anyone needs any yeast for a while, I've got plenty at the bottom of the longnecks.
Love it!

Not So My Friend, Not So
"Easy Open Pouch" Pah! I think not! Does anyone else struggle with any opening the seal on a product that's labeled as "Easy Open" or "Tear Here"?
At least don't label it "Easy Open". That makes me feel bad. They should try "Easier Than Getting The Scissors Out Open," which is what I do regardless.

And Done
Leah is officially on the potty train. CHOO CHOO!
I'm proud to report that Leah has officially caught on. It's been a long road to get her here, but as soon as we really buckled down it was only a matter of days before the whole concept really clicked with her. The accidents have been minimal and she is so proud of herself. You can just tell that she's so happy to be a little more independent. I really feel that it's given her confidence a boost.
Sticker charts and toy bribery seemed to be just the thing for her. After she earned 10 stickers (1 for #1 and 2 for #2) she would get a small toy or something like it. We did this 6 times, it only took about 1 1/2 weeks for her to get through 60 stickers, and she had it down.
My girl's a CHAMP!
