Practice Makes Perfect

Leah: "Mommy, mommy, mommy. Mama? Mama? Mama, where are you!"
Me: -silent-
Leah: "Mo-om!"
Me: -jumping out of the closet- "BOO!"
Leah: "Oh you scare me! I wanna scare you too."
Me: "Okay, get in the closet, jump out and say BOO."
Leah gets into the closet
Me: "Leah, Leah, Leah. Where are you?"
Leah: -opening the closet door- "Here I am!"
Me: "You say BOO when you scare me."
Leah: "Okay." - going back into the closet- "Try again."
Me: "Leah, Leah, Leah. Where are you?"
Leah: -opening the closet door- "Here I am!"
Me: "You say BOO when you scare me."
Leah: "Okay." - going back into the closet- "Try again."
Me: "Leah, Leah, Leah. Where are you?"
Leah: -opening the closet door- "Here I am!"

And you get the picture. This happened about 8 times before I gave up. Exact same words, exact same everything. She just wanted me to know where she was at all times, can I make sure we somehow ingrain this in her before she grows up?
